In my career I have been moved eight time due to job change through corporate relocations. I have experienced both good and bad relocations with the current one being the hardest by far for my family and I. My family and I have recently relocated from MA to FL due to a change in job. The process to move started in November of 2009 when my new company requested we use an assigned corporate realtor and thankfully ended in August of 2010 when Karen Earnest sold my house.
Due to a down economy and an unprecedented declining housing market in the US, the ability to sell the house seemed bleak and the fact that we were a family living 2500 miles apart added to the pressure. A new job, a split family , no one looking at the house and no end in sight seemed to extinguish the light at the end of our tunnel. The process and the economy seemed to be failing at every step. Our first realtor seemed to go through the motions and did not bring in potential clients for my home. My wife and I started to believe that we would have to either foreclose or walk away from a property that we had built with twenty years of sweat equity.
During the process we had only one true bright spot - Karen Earnest. Karen came in and aggressivlely marketed our home. She brought in clients to show the property. She got us a fair offer. But that's not all.....during our move, Karen assisted us with the home inspections and the dealing with our town on issues that almost blocked our sale. She definitely went above and beyond.
In reality she was much more than a realtor - she was a true professional, a confidant to my family and friend. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.
